A baseline 10% tariff will stay in place.
China, which just raised tariffs on the United States in response to Trump raising tariffs to 104%, will now face 125% tariffs unless it comes to the negotiating table.
The Chinese economy depends massively on U.S. trade; being cut out in favor of other nations could entirely restructure the global flow of goods.
The stock market surged within minutes of Trump's post.
I guess he was right!
