Here's a good laugh for those of you who actually know a thing or two about the Bible.
There's so much to unpack, but I'll start with Donald Trump showing the MS-13 gang tattoos that the deported man in question, Kilmar Garcia, has on his hands:
In terms of comparisons, Jesus wasn't a member of a RUTHLESS gang that's famous for raping and murdering people.
But let's give 'ol Kilmar the benefit of the doubt and say he's not actually a gangster, just a normal guy who illegally entered our country and just happened to get gang tattoos on his fingers. 🤷♂️
There's still a whole lot wrong with what Tim Walz's daughter said...
Jesus is alive today, has been granted ALL authority on heaven and the earth, and sits at the right hand of God the Father in heaven, waiting until the appointed time to judge the living and the dead.
Every human (that includes you) is born into sin at birth and is totally and helplessly depraved. You are not a good person. The only thing you contribute to your salvation is the sin that made it necessary. You are dead; only Christ can make you alive.
Jesus affirms every word of the Bible - he specifically said not one iota of God's Law would pass away until everything has been fulfilled and accomplished. This includes the Bible's teaching on private property, respect for governing authorities, and borders. While God's people are to treat the foreigner kindly, it is under the assumption that the foreigner is not breaking the law and/or taking advantage of welfare systems.
For more on Jesus' thoughts about "inclusivity," Tim Walz's daughter should read Jesus' parable of the man who broke the rules by arriving at a wedding without the proper wedding clothes and was promptly tied up and thrown outside into the "outer darkness," where there is "weeping and gnashing of teeth." Jesus isn't a tolerant hippie, and if you interpret Him that way, you are in danger: "Fear him who, after your body has been killed, has authority to throw you into hell. Yes, I tell you, fear him."
