Missouri's Eric Schmitt is asking why Easter isn't a federal holiday.
Oh noes! It's dangerous and "Christian Nationalist" to honor Christ and to recognize Easter like ... every other country in the Western world. I'm sure the Founding Fathers are turning over in their graves at the thought of honoring Christ above other gods.
While I think we have enough federal holidays, I think honoring God's redemptive plan to conquer death itself is a bit more important than the rest!
