I'm sorry to tell you, but the results of yesterday's Wisconsin Supreme Court election - where a liberal judge beat a conservative judge - were completely unsurprising.
Democrats have been revved up since January, and the election wasn't even close.
Crawford, a Dane County circuit judge who was backed by Democrats, secured a 10-year term on the court over Brad Schimel, a Waukesha County circuit judge and a former Republican attorney general.
β¦
Crawford's victory also means liberals will maintain a 4-3 advantage on the court for at least another year.
There's another great point. You know who Brad Schimel was AG for? Scott Walker. Wisconsin Democrats absolutely hate Scott Walker.
Literally, Republicans didn't stand a chance in this election.
Yet Elon Musk - good on him for trying - apparently spent around $20 million on this election. That is, according to the AP, which states "Musk and groups he supports have spent more than $20 million to help conservative favorite Brad Schimel."
So I mentioned this was an unsurprising result, and I truly believe it. It's Wisconsin; Trump's been president for ten weeks; and liberals are more triggered than ever.
Yet still, liberals are treating this like it's the Super Bowl and they're going to Disney World.

Yay! You won! Get over it.
This was obviously going to happen.
To his credit, here's Schimel conceding the election and then thanking his supporters:
And to the credit of all Wisconsin voters, here's the good news in all this:
Call it abnormal, but Wisconsin is a very purple state, which means people don't always vote exactly how the TV tells them to and will occasionally cross party lines when it comes to filling in that bubble.
