As some of you may know, Paddington Bear is a bear of kindness, friendliness, and acceptance, and is essentially goodness wrapped up inside of a CGI teddy bear.
So when these two young vandals destroyed a fiberglass Paddington statue in Newbury, UK, I couldn't help but feel a little upset at their actions.
Royal Air Force engineers Daniel Heath and William Lawrence, both 22, set upon the statue in Newbury, southern England after a night out drinking on March 2.
… They took the fragment back to their air force base in a taxi, and it was later found in Lawrence's car.
It was some RAF bros??
The judge literally told them their actions are the "antithesis of everything Paddington stands for," which is 100% truth.
He gave them both 12 months of community orders, 150 hours of unpaid work, and charged them each a £2,725 ($3,530) fine.
What's more, the vandalized Paddington was in the hometown of his creator, Michael Bond, on a path along with 22 other Paddington statues.
For good measure, this is the label attached to Paddington at all times.
Needless to say, these vandals did the exact opposite!
