There are many reasons I will never be a skyscraper window-washer.
This is one of them:
Via local news:
Two workers trapped several stories up outside a Tysons, Virginia, high-rise Thursday were rescued after their window-washing basket partially collapsed, officials said.
The window washers were working on the Intelsat building at 7900 Tysons One Place, near the Capital Beltway and Chain Bridge Road, about 10 a.m. when one side of their window washing platform malfunctioned, Fairfax County Fire and Rescue said.
Thankfully, the workers' safety ropes kept them from falling. But the entire experience still looked — to put it mildly — extremely terrifying.

(Love this guy just chillin' there real casual while the workers dangle above the great void:)
The dangling workers were rescued by Fairfax County Fire and Rescue's Technical Rescue Operations Team by being "lowered [into] the bucket of a tower ladder."
Fortunately, there were no injuries reported.
Thank goodness we have brave men to do this job, because I'm not one of them!
