Well, this may be the saddest thing you see today.
To think of all this beauty torn down and replaced, oftentimes by monstrosities, it makes one weep for America past.
And yes, I can already hear my brothers of the reformed persuasion now telling me that these weren't real churches anyways, they were apostate denominations and congregations, and nothing more than whitewashed tombs.
In that case, the demolition of these beautiful, historic buildings is the last chapter of a centuries- long tragedy.
But it is a tragedy nonetheless.
