Check out the replies to this actual post from the British Army

The annual Islamic month of fasting (Ramadan) is over, so the British Army - the actual British Army - decided to post this on social media:

I've lived in the Middle East and minored in Arabic in college. I have no problem wishing Muslims a very happy Eid Mubarak.

BUT HOLY POST-MODERN BRAIN ROT, BATMAN.

Britain is a Christian nation, as in, founded explicitly as a Christian nation. In the last century, it, like many other Western nations, has pretended that it is not: That England is just a collection of secular ideas about human rights and an economic zone for labor.

But the very flag of the United Kingdom (the one in the Army's profile pic) is a combination of England's red cross of St. George, Scotland's white cross of St. Andrew, and Ireland's red cross of St. Patrick.

Three Christian crosses of three Christian saints to point to the lordship of Jesus Christ.

Meanwhile, the last time the British Army posted an Easter message to X was in 2021.

In the comments, y'all can debate multiculturalism and inclusion and the difference between a Christian kingdom and the actual Kingdom of God. I'm not here to harp on Muslims, either (I want them to know Jesus as much as I want the rest of you to know Jesus).

But a country like Great Britain has to mean something. If it means everything, and fights for all things and all belief systems, then it means nothing.

The British people need to decide fast what that something is. Otherwise, their experiment in woke secularism is about to come to a crashing halt. No company, institution, or country can survive being devoid of a specific identity, purpose, and belief for very long. Nature abhors a vacuum.

Eid Mubarak, Britain!
