Oh Canada...

Just in case you needed a little reminder, socialized healthcare really sucks. The latest personal story comes from a woman in Canada who might have a brain tumor. She saw her doctor in December of last year, and was given an appointment for a scan.

Guess when it is? 2026.

[Warning: Language]

If you thought this was bad, it's actually worse than you thought. Because the appointment where we decided that I need this MRI was in December of last year. So it's not like it's 10 months from now. It's 13 months. It's a 13 month wait to see if I have a brain tumor.

I just thought this was a mistake — But no, I called and the clinic was like, yeah, the doctor actually requested that you have it earlier, but this is the next spot we have. We're seeing about 13 months out.

Assuming she even lives long enough to get diagnosed, she has 13 months of living with a growing brain tumor in her skull with zero treatment.

Canada, where healthcare is free, but only if you can afford to wait.

The internet is full of stories like this. Check out this harrowing story from a Canadian woman who injured her knee:

Here is a story of 1,000 Canadians lining up in a snowstorm to be seen by a doctor:

And there's this woman who had to have her leg amputated because Canada waited over 6 years to give her the knee surgery she needed:

Ok, so their wait times are insane for general practitioners and specialists, but what about the emergency room?

INSANE.

How much do you wanna bet she could easily get assisted suicide in Canada with much less hassle and wait?

Just another reminder to never fall for socialism.
