The Supreme Court says Trump can drain the Swamp.

Trump signed an executive order on February 11 mandating sweeping personnel cuts at 19 federal agencies. He managed to axe 16,000 or so before a district judge in San Francisco named Susan Illston blocked the order on May 9, saying the president doesn't have the authority to fire workers who serve in the executive branch without the permission of Congress.

Judge Illston then extended her order toward the end of May.

The Supreme Court says Trump is likely going to win his claim that he can fire his own employees as commander-in-chief, so they have stayed this activist judge's order while the case goes to an appellate court.

In the meantime, the job cuts can continue.

Bloomberg offered the following point as a ... negative?

...opponents say could cause hundreds of thousands of federal workers to lose their jobs.

Bloomberg also says this would "dramatically reduce the size of the federal government."
