On Thursday, Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt announced that the president's doctors have diagnosed Donald Trump with chronic venous insufficiency.

Long story short, President Trump had swollen ankles, so he got it checked out. Turns out he is in his 70s so he's getting normal elderly ailments.

Yes, Trump is human.

From the Post:

It was not immediately clear how Trump, 79, would be treated for the ailment.

'Recent photos of the president have shown minor bruising on the back of his hand,' she [Leavitt] also acknowledged.

'This is consistent with minor soft tissue irritation from frequent handshaking and the use of aspirin, which is taken as part of a standard cardiovascular prevention regimen. This is a well known and benign side effect of aspirin therapy and the president remains in excellent health, which I think all of you witness on a daily basis here.'

Before him, former President Biden was diagnosed with peripheral neuropathy in his feet, which causes numbness and difficulty walking.

As long as heart and kidney function remains healthy, the swelling caused by chronic venous insufficiency can be managed with exercise, compression, and minor procedures.

Let's pray President Trump has many years of good health to come.
