Ladies and gentlemen (and I do mean ladies and gentlemen), the wokies are upset about this:
The woke acolytes were upset about three things.
Hegseth saying "gentlemen" instead of a gEnDeR-NeUtraL term.
Hegseth being invited to serve as the grand marshal.
Hegseth's very existence.
As to the first complaint, literally every driver on that course was a man. All of them. There is currently one female driver participating in the NASCAR Cup Series, but she was not at the Coca-Cola 600 on Sunday.
And yet...
As for the second complaint, here are some of the reactions:
Oh no! They showed a conservative on TV instead of the revolving door of liberal politicians who are usually featured everywhere! The horror!
As to the third complaint, well, I'm pretty sure the wokies want us all to not exist.
