This has to be one of the worst ways to die.
A horrific incident occurred at a burrito factory in Southern California known for making the popular frozen Tina's Burritos.
You ever try these?
Police at the scene confirmed that a 19-year-old after-hours janitor was cleaning an industrial meat grinder when it somehow activated and he was sucked in.
To give you an idea of how these work, they have a large funnel that leads to a rotating auger capable of breaking down large hunks of meat. Here's a video of a similar machine doing its job:
It wasn't a fast death, either. Other members of the cleaning crew ran to help when they heard screaming coming from the machine, but they were unable to turn it off.
Police arrived on the scene to find the man dead in the grinder. Sgt. Daniel Onopa says they suspect no foul play and believes it was just a terrible accident.
The young man's name has not been released. Pray for his loved ones as they navigate this horrific tragedy.
... and stay safe at work.
