I know America is far from perfect, but I sure am glad that we broke away and wrote that First Amendment because what's happening in Europe is not good.
Here's where free speech stands today according to the French mission to the United Nations.
Speech is free as long as the speech isn't illegal. And we get to decide what is and isn't legal. Anyways, enjoy saying things until you get arrested.
It's truly a meaningless statement and I'm not even sure what would motivate the French officials to think this was a cool thing to say.
France (and most of Europe) is literally a joke now.
