Jackie Norris, chairwoman of Des Moines Public Schools and former chief of staff to Michelle Obama, has ended her campaign for U.S. Senate.
I guess that's what hiring an illegal alien with allegedly false credentials gets you?
If she had been in charge of California schools, this blunder could have been a resumé booster!

Des Moines School Board Chair Jackie Norris is ending her U.S. Senate campaign, citing the crisis caused by the immigration arrest of the district's former superintendent late last month.
'After thoughtful consideration, I have decided that I will no longer be a candidate for the U.S. Senate in the Democratic primary,' Norris said Oct. 16 in a statement shared with the Des Moines Register.
"After thoughtful consideration" = Response to immense public backlash.
'The recent Des Moines Public Schools Superintendent crisis demanded my full attention as Board Chair and, overnight, put the School Board, our community, and me personally in the crosshairs of vicious and coordinated attacks,' Norris said.
Wait, is she playing the victim?
When she's the one who hired an illegal alien to oversee her capital city's public school district??
'I will keep fighting for a better politics,' she said. 'I believe people will trust government again when politicians put people over a party label and get things done. I leave this race with my head high, and I'll continue serving my community and doing everything I can to help Democrats win this seat.'
I didn't hear an apology in there anywhere. 🤔
