Idaho's Attorney General Raúl Labrador issued a warning on Tuesday to the mayor of Boise after the city official decided to make a stand by flying the Pride flag at City Hall, which is now against the law.

In Idaho, the flying of unauthorized political flags on government buildings was recently outlawed. However, Boise Mayor Lauren McLean is standing her ground, because apparently her job is to promote homosexuality at all costs.
When previously asked about her refusal to take down the flag, Mayor [Lauren] Mclean told Idaho News 6 Senior Reporter, Don Nelson, that the city will continue to fly the flag to make it clear that 'everybody in our community matters.' When asked what she thought about her neighbors in the State House, she replied, 'They went home a little while ago, and I'm focused on Boise and Boiseans.'
Yeah, the white, middle aged, liberal woman who is in charge of Boise thinks the gays need to be valorized in her city, so she's going to continue to fly their sacred banner. And she doesn't give a care about the law or her oath to uphold it.
The gays must be worshipped and revered!

AG Raúl Labrador made sure to alert McLean to her violation of the law in no uncertain terms.
In his letter, Labrador reminds the mayor of her sworn oath to uphold the laws of Idaho, 'even in instances where you may personally disagree.' He goes on to accuse McLean of defying the will of the legislature, 'and by extension, the people of Idaho.'
Labrador then asks: 'How do you ensure your citizens' respect for the rule of law if you are not following the law yourself?'
Oh yes, the lefties always care about the rule of law!
This appeal to reason will totally work!
Unfortunately, the bill, which was signed into law on April 3, contains no methods to enforce the law. So, for now, the strongly-worded letter may be the best we can get.
However, the state's top law enforcement officer believes that this oversight will be quickly remedied the next time the legislature gets together.
Although there is currently no enforcement mechanism in place for the flag law, he hints that the legislature 'will respond next session with strong enforcement tools against those who openly violate this law.' He adds that other enforcement options remain available, such as 'to deny state tax revenues and other appropriations to the City of Boise or any other governmental entity that does not follow state law.'
He's hinting at going the Trump 2024 route and cutting off funds until the city complies.
Aaaaaand...
