For years, there have been accusations and denials that organizations like USAID were involved in coordinating and funding color revolutions (political subversions mixed with popular uprisings) that toppled the governments of other nations.
Of course, there has been little that could be proven; openly admitting to subverting another government would be akin to an act of war after all.
But now that Donald Trump has started draining the Swamp, the Swamp creatures are opening up, not only that they likely engaged in these activities abroad, but that they have plans to do the same here.
From NOTUS, the news agency Trump laughed at:
‘Take it from those of us who worked in authoritarian countries: We've become one,' said a currently employed federal official, who spoke to NOTUS on condition of anonymity. ‘They were so quick to disband AID, the group that supposedly instigates color revolutions. But they've done a very foolish thing. You just released a bunch of well-trained individuals into your population. If you kept our offices going and had us play solitaire in the office, it might have been safer to keep your regime.'
And that official is still apparently at their desk.
The ones that have been let go are apparently holding invite-only meetings under the title DemocracyAID, where they're strategizing with those still on the inside on how to best take down the government.

Now, before you Libertarians get all excited, it's the pared-down government they want to take down.
They want to reinstate the glutted version.

Rosarie Tucci, formerly the director of the USAID Center for Democracy, Human Rights and Governance, is co-leading DemocracyAID and leading what she calls an Authoritarianism 101 workshop.
She said,
The whole point of it is to start off slow. People are just taking coffee breaks together. And that's what we're encouraging them to do.
Getting people to understand that it's part of a process is the training. It feels silly. ‘Why are we going to get ice cream?' You're building up that muscle and that bravery, and you're building up your numbers. Today it starts with four, but tomorrow it's 10. We're helping them understand that is the organizing, and that is the process to get to a massive strike.
Danielle Reiff, another former USAID diplomat, and the other face of DemocracyAID leadership has set up an encrypted chat on Signal called, "Keep the Community Together" where they are making plans to undermine the U.S. government.
We started to have really robust, good conversations, and we realized this was not going to be a quick incident. We really needed to start organizing for the longer haul.
One of the main features is using the old CIA subversion pamphlet called "Simple Sabotage," which has fun ideas like this:
Widespread practice of simple sabotage will harass and demoralize enemy administrators and police. The saboteur may have to reverse his thinking … where he formerly thought of keeping his tools sharp, he should now let them grow dull; surfaces that formerly were lubricated now should be sanded; normally diligent, he should now be lazy and careless.
Wait a minute!!!

Isn't that the reason most of these people were let go in the first place?
Aren't they upset that they can't just hang out being lazy and careless while collecting a fat government check anymore?
The official still in the office quoted above wants to just sit around playing solitaire for goodness sakes!
Anyway, the Trump administration is aware of the treasonous nonsense and has begun to address it.
Back in May, acting Federal Emergency Management Agency Administrator David Richardson issued this warning:
Don't get in my way.
Obfuscation, delay, undermining. If you're one of those 20% of the people and you think those tactics and techniques are going to help you, they will not, because I will run right over you. I will achieve the president's intent.
I don't stop at yield signs.
I mean they're literally going up against the guy who took a bullet, and his first response was to stand up and yell, "Fight, Fight, Fight!"
I don't think laziness is going to hack it.
