Well, look who wants to talk now that the elections are over.

That's weird ... it's almost like the government shutdown was nothing more than a political tool meant to mobilize voters, especially in Northern Virginia.

Fresh from the party's victories in off-year elections across the map, top congressional Democrats are insisting on a meeting with President Donald Trump to discuss the shutdown.

'Democrats stand ready to meet with you face to face, anytime and anyplace,' Schumer and Jeffries said Wednesday.
