After a terrifying rumor that Zelda would be played by transgender actor Hunter Schafer, it seems Nintendo has come to the rescue and murdered that rumor for good.
In a social media post, game director Shigeru Miyamoto revealed the casting of the two major roles: Princess Zelda will be played by actress Bo Bragason, and the swordsman Link will be played by actor Benjamin Evan Ainsworth:
No race- or gender-swapped characters! Will this be the first time in a decade that we haven't had gay Marxism injected into a film??
After his announcement, Miyamoto concluded:
I am very much looking forward to seeing both of them on the big screen.
