When you mess with the bull, you get the horns. And when you mess with the Vance, you get the… beard?
That's the hard lesson learned by a commander at the United States Space Force base in Greenland after she sent an email to the base's personnel criticizing Vice President JD Vance.
From Breitbart:
Military.com reported that after Vance visited the base on March 28, Meyers sent an email on March 31 to all personnel at Pituffik, including Canadians, Danes, and Greelanders who work there, that said she 'spent the weekend thinking about Friday's visit — the actions taken, the words spoken, and how it must have affected each of you.'
She added, 'I do not presume to understand current politics, but what I do know is the concerns of the U.S. administration discussed by Vice President Vance on Friday are not reflective of Pituffik Space Base.'
This. Is. Wild.
How did a woke schoolmarm HR lady like this ever make it to officer in the Space Force?
It didn't take long for the report to draw criticism, with Senator Eric Schmitt from Missouri taking aim at Meyers.
Sen. Schmitt quickly sent an official letter to Air Force Command:
Sure enough, by Thursday evening, Colonel Meyers had been removed from command of the base.

Let this be a lesson to anyone else in military leadership who feels like criticizing the administration and its surrogates...
