Cracker Barrel decided to put the old man out to pasture this week with a rebrand of its logo that almost everyone in the universe seems to hate. 👇

Not the Bee's super scientific poll, with almost 8,000 submissions, determined that the redesign overseen by the company's white liberal female CEO (with glasses of course) is a turn-off to most customers.

The story went so viral that even Denny's and Steak 'n Shake took the opportunity to lash out:

(Steak 'n Shake's CEO has tried at least seven times to gain control of Cracker Barrel 😂)

The displeasure with the rebrand is so great that it seems to be uniting America again.

The official Democratic Party account posted this:

In honor of this momentous moment in American restaurant history, we here at Not the Bee felt it was our duty to assemble the best memes that have come out of the viral debate across the media landscape.

Enjoy.

Some people were very upset about all this laughing, however. They would like us to know that we need to be very serious. You will find these people in every comment section.

It's okay to laugh, bro! 😂

Anyway, did you know that the old timer in the Cracker Barrel logo is Uncle Herschel, the real uncle of the restaurant's founder, Dan Evins? He worked for the Martha White Flour Company for three decades and knew a thing or two about the importance of Southern general stores. He became the chain's goodwill ambassador to the public, shaping the restaurants to be a reflection of times past, when Americans could gather to talk, shop, play, and dine.

On its website, Cracker Barrel goes as far to refer to Herschel as the "soul" of the company.

They removed the "soul" from their logo? 😭
