I realize now why The View still gets enough ratings to stay on the air: It's like a daily train wreck that no one can look away from.
Check out this latest take from Whoopi Goldberg, who seems to think that life as a successful black woman with a net worth near $60 million, who can say and do pretty much anything she wants, is exactly the same as a woman in Iran.

Cohost Alyssa Farah Griffin tried very hard to explain why it's different:
The year 2025 in the United States is nothing like if I step foot wearing this outfit in Iran right now. I can't have my hair showing, I can't wear a skirt, I can't have my arms out.
I think it's very different to live in the United States in 2025 than it is to live in Iran.
But Goldberg was in full rant mode and shouted her down.
Not if you're black!
I had no idea we had modesty dress codes for black women in the U.S.
Whoopie really should let some of these female singers out there know before they get in trouble.
It's been evident for a while, but the woman has completely lost the script.
