Brittany and Josh Ingram of Deatsville, Alabama, welcomed their first child, JB, back in 2015, but due to multiple fertility issues, the couple resigned themselves to the fact that they weren't likely to have any more children.

They decided to forgo pursuing fertility treatments, Brittany telling GMA,

We were just kind of leaving it up to God, and saying, 'If it's meant to be, it'll be. If it's not, it won't.' So, after 10 years, we just thought JB was going to be our one and only [child].

God obviously had other plans, because last year, during the week of Brittany's 36th birthday, she took a pregnancy test and to her surprise it was positive.

The Ingrams' shock would only grow when they found out that they were actually expecting three little ones.

Brittany quoted her 10-year-old son as saying,

Well, I always wanted a sibling, I always prayed for a sibling, but I never knew I'd get three! I guess I just prayed too much.

There's no such thing as too much prayer! Now JB gets to be a big brother to three precious babies after a decade as an only child.

Not only were the babies conceived spontaneously after a decade of infertility, but they were also incredibly rare in that they were identical triplets all sharing a single placenta, making the pregnancy higher risk than even a typical triplet pregnancy.

At only 22 weeks of pregnancy, Brittany went into labor, but thanks to medical intervention, she was able to make it until 30 weeks. On February 4th, she delivered three healthy baby girls: Emersyn, Adalyn, and Layla.

The babies spent two months in the NICU at UAB Medical Center in Birmingham before they were all able to go home, and it took a little while for this story to go viral, but we're sure glad it did.

Brittany encouraged other families going through infertility by saying,

Don't give up. There's always hope. Just because it's not on your timing doesn't mean it's not ever going to happen.
