Just another example of your run-of-the-mill elected Democrat in this country:
Yes, Julie von Haefen, a North Carolina state representative from Wake County, posted a photo from a "No Kings" rally that explicitly called for the beheading of both Donald Trump and (it looks like) Stephen Miller.
Of course when people pointed out that an elected representative shouldn't be posting violent imagery of a guillotine and a decapitated president, Von Haefen did what any Democrat would do.
She chickened out, freaked out, deleted her account and hid, waiting for the storm to blow over.
When that didn't happen, she made a new post and just pretended like nothing ever happened in the first place.
Then THAT didn't work, because you can run, but you can't hide from Libs of TikTok, so she issued an acknowledgment and an apology.
I love how she channeled her inner-Obama for this statement.

To paraphrase: "There's no place for this kind of violent rhetoric that my staff and I saw, laughed at, recorded, and uploaded from today's anti-America protest. And, honestly, I can't believe I was caught."
The latest update is that the state GOP in NC is calling on von Haefen to resign. Preferably in disgrace.
It's weird how the Trump admin is supposed to be filled with vindictive, petty, evil haters but it's somehow the Democrats who have been behind virtually all the political violence lately.
But please, tell me more about how this is Trump's fault...
